Pickup is at 4:30 AM from your Abu Dhabi hotel, residence, or airport area. Arrive at the dunes around 5:15 AM while the sky is still dark, and watch the colours change as dawn breaks. Pause at a high dune crest for photos, then hold on for 30 minutes of morning dune bashing across cool, firm sand ridges. Try your hand at sandboarding down gentle slopes and take a short camel ride before winding down.
A light desert breakfast of fresh dates, pastries, fruit, and juice is served on the sand alongside hot Arabic coffee and tea.
