Classic Evening Desert Safari

Escape the city and head into the golden dunes of Al Khatim on this 6-hour evening desert safari with hotel pickup, dune bashing, and a BBQ dinner under the stars.

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your Abu Dhabi hotel between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM in a 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser. After a scenic 45-minute drive, your licensed desert driver takes you off-road for an adrenaline-filled dune bashing session across rolling sand ridges. Feel the rush as the 4x4 climbs and dips over steep dunes at varying speeds for approximately 45 minutes.

As the sun begins to set, pull over at a panoramic dune crest for golden hour photos. Watch as the sand shifts from bright gold to deep amber and copper in the fading light.

Continue to a traditional Bedouin-style desert camp, where you can try sandboarding on nearby slopes, take a camel ride, get henna art, or simply relax with Arabic coffee and dates. As night falls, enjoy live entertainment including Tanoura spinning, a fire show, and belly dancing, all while a freshly prepared charcoal BBQ buffet is served with both meat and vegetarian dishes. All food is Halal. Cold drinks are included.

You are dropped back at your hotel by approximately 9:00 PM.

This experience is ideal for couples, families with children aged 3 and up, solo travellers, and small groups. Not recommended for pregnant guests, children under 3, or those with serious back conditions. A calm direct transfer to camp can be arranged on request.
